1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Convertible

Lot 435

Top of the line for the Ford Motor Company in 1959 the Mark lV Convertible was built in limited numbers and was the most expensive  car Ford offered in the period.  It had the biggest engine sold by Ford and was built on the longest wheelbase offered by Ford on a production car. This example was used for carrying dignitaries in Parades in the Seattle area at a time when a man’s standing was judged by the length of the car in which he was carried. A superbly original car and an asset to any collection.
