Storage: Cars cost $85.00 per month to store while in consignment. Non-consigned cars are stored on a pre-arranged basis for $165.00 per month. “Left” or abandoned vehicles which haven’t contracted for monthly parking or non-renewed consignments which are kept on any Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC premise will incur the daily rate of $15.00 per day.

Boats or other specialty vehicles will incur their standard moorage or storage fee, along with any management fee, if applicable. Storage is all in all a “loss leader” for Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC and does not offset the cost of space.

Labor: The internal labor rate for pre-existing customers is $75.00 per hour. All consignors are considered “pre-existing.” The non-internal rate is $85.00 per hour.

Insurance: To help offset the cost of insurance on the inventory, consignors are asked to reimburse Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC for its cost in insurance coverages. The price is $25.00 per month per vehicle. It is not inclusive of individual coverage on the consigned vehicle and in fact the consignment agreement requires that all consigned vehicles be separately insured. Please contact us directly if you need assistance securing coverage on your vehicle itself. Payment of $25.00 to contribute to the umbrella policy is in no way meant to be construed so as to provide coverage for your individual vehicle. Consignor’s vehicle and its contents kept in any and all of our premises at consignor’s sole risk and expense.

Advertising and Events: Advertising is usually subscribed to in the following forms or mediums, depending upon application and pertinence. Some of our periodicals include:

Events are scheduled throughout the year. Auctions, car shows, boat shows, racing and competition events are examples. Specifically there are the following: Scottsdale, Arizona Auctions, Florida Auctions, California Auctions, Las Vegas, Nevada and Northwest Auctions, Italian Car Shows, Wooden Boat Shows, British Car Shows, and many others. Some vehicles are chosen to participate. Some cars are just advertised at these venues. Flyers are distributed at all. Entry fees, transportation costs and ad costs might apply. Any out of state entries will be subject to consignor’s approval. Local entries are per discretion of consignee. Average entry costs are between $200.00 and $500.00 except for Scottsdale or Monterey, which are sometimes up to $1,000.00.

Accounting: In general no accounting is provided until a sale is made or until the consignment period has been completed. The ultimate discretion of repairs, ads, and events is that the consignee Cosmopolitan Motors, LLC. Consignors are encouraged to express their preferences and all efforts will be made to show deference to them where possible. Consignee is too busy to be able to continually contact consignor with routine decision making.

Trades:   Consignee will always endeavor to produce the best results for consignor. Occasionally a trade may become a part of a transaction. In such cases Consignee will in turn sell the trade for the consignor unless consignor requests that consignor retains the trade. In such “trade in” scenarios consignor will incur an additional consignment fee.
